A Curated House of Nonfiction

An atlas of the life we live now

Modern life is strange, fast, and difficult to hold still long enough to understand. We publish clear, humane books that help.

Something changed. It was not you.

No One Announced It is a short book about why so much of everyday life now leaves you feeling behind, and why that feeling is usually wrong. Yours free, in English, German or Spanish.

  • Why feeling slow is so often a rule that moved without notice, and not a failing of yours.
  • Where changes now arrive unannounced. Your terms, your prices, even a job that kept its title and changed underneath it.
  • What noticing actually gets you, told honestly and without a programme to sign up for.

Look inside

The notice that went missing.

The book starts with a small humiliation everyone knows. A thing you have done a hundred times stops working the way it worked, and everyone else seems to have known. Here are its first two pages.

The other half of what we do

You have a book in you. We can help you make it real.

The traditional houses are effectively closed. Self-publishing hands you a second full-time job you never trained for. Good books die in that gap every day.

I am Robert Hell and I run InkAtlas. We do everything between your manuscript and the finished book, or only the part you need, for fiction and nonfiction alike, at a fixed price, and every royalty stays yours. For authors who already sell, we make the same book in German or Spanish.

A free sample chapter first. Send a finished manuscript and we set a chapter of it in our designs before you pay anything.
You keep everything. You publish on your own account in every package, and the royalties go straight from the retailer to you.
Three pilot places. The first three authors get thirty per cent off, in return for letting us show their book, their name and a short quote as an example.
